Pension fund letter



Dear Pension Fund Trustee,
I believe it is important for my pension scheme not to fund potentially socially destructive and unethical enterprises such as arms manufacturers and arms traders and that this is in the best interests of pensioners and society as a whole. I would like the Statement of Investment Principles to make it clear that the arms industry will not be funded. Please could you let me know if this is or will be included in the Statement of Investment Principles.

Investment fund manager letter

If you haven't already done so, write to your investment fund manager or whoever manages your investments for you making it clear that you will not fund arms related businesses or activities.


e.g.

Dear Investment Fund Manager,
Since you manage investments on my behalf I should like your assurance that none of my money has been or will be invested in arms related enterprises and that it is your policy to avoid such investments.
